Family Mass

 Next Sunday the 7th of October we invite Parents and Grandparent to the monthly Family Mass at 12.30pm for a Special Mass of Thanksgiving for Parents and Grandparents.

Bethany Bereavement Support

The death of someone close touches us to the core and leaves us hurt and wounded. A Bethany group offers a listening ear and help on the road of bereavement. Individual support can also part of it.

The Bethany drop-in meeting is at 7.30pm every 2nd Wednesday at St Francis Xavier Church.

Our October Talks Series

Saturday 6th October with a heartwarming introduction by Jessie Rodgers to the stories that Jesus loved: this is an introduction to the Old Testament, a text we’re sometimes even afraid of. Pick up a leaflet about it at the back of the Church or click here
All of the mornings in the series begin at 10am sharp. There will be a coffee break and the activity ends around 1pm with optional soup and sandwiches. A small offering is requested.

Junior Gospel Choir

The Junior Gospel Choir will hopefully sing at the 12.30 Mass on the 3rd Sunday of October (21st October). This is a new venture, launched last year and supported by Gardiner Street Primary School.

Church Choir – New Members

The Church Choir who sing at the 11am on Sunday’s are looking for the new members to join them, if you are interested in joining you can talk to any of the priests or our Musical Director, Denice Doyle before the11am Mass or contact a member of the Choir for further information.

Charismatic Prayer Group

A Charismatic Prayer Group meets every Monday evening at 8pm in the Prayer Room on the Pope Francis Corridor and welcomes all to experience prayer in the spirit.
