Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine
on Sunday 22nd July from Gardiner Street and with St Joseph’s East Wall. The story of Knock began in August 1879, when 15 people witnessed an apparition at the gable wall of the parish church. On giving their testimonies the witnesses described a heavenly vision of Our Lady/ St Joseph, St John the Evangelist and aLamb on an altar surrounded by angels.

Holy Wells Day
On Sunday 17th June 2018, the annual National Holy Wells Day will be celebrated. There may be 3,000 Holy Wells in Ireland – we invite people to visit their local Holy Well and pray for the protection and fair distribution of water.
