Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine
on Sunday 22nd July from Gardiner Street and with St Joseph’s East Wall. The story of Knock began in August 1879, when 15 people witnessed an apparition at the gable wall of the parish church. On giving their testimonies the witnesses described a heavenly vision of Our Lady/ St Joseph, St John the Evangelist and aLamb on an altar surrounded by angels.

Volunteers Needed!
We need volunteers for some practical help in the church on Sundays and on Tuesday when a helping hand would be very welcome. have a couple hours free and the willingness to give us a hand we would appreciate it. Just mention this to any of the priests. Thanks, Fr. Gerry Clarke

Oasis Day – 14 July  2018
Step aside from the ordinary into the lovely surroundings of Manresa for an Oasis Day. Each day takes place in an atmosphere of silence and comprises a number of elements: reflections, guided meditations, prayer and an opportunity to meet with a spiritual director; a celebration of the Eucharist concludes each day. Holy Wells Day
On Sunday 17th June 2018, the annual National Holy Wells Day will be celebrated. There may be 3,000 Holy Wells in Ireland – we invite people to visit their local Holy Well and pray for the protection and fair distribution of water. This invitation is to pray and act for all of creation. The Resource page of www.lovingsisterearth.com offers a short ritual you might perform on the day.   1. I love attending services in Gardiner St.though I am not from the parish.It’s so peaceful and soul refreshing.Thank to the wonderful Priests.They are a real treasure.
