A TALK ON ‘ST IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA – A SAINT FOR TROUBLED TIMES’ BY JOSÉ MARÍA RODRÍGUEZ OLAIZOLA SJ.

In his biography of Ignatius ‘Never Alone’, Olaizola draws attention to the many failures and disappointments in Ignatius’s life. These experiences were transformative for the saint and we in turn can learn from them.

The talk will take place in the Arrupe Room, Milltown Park, on Friday 19 May, 2pm -4pm. Tea and coffee served.

Olaizola is the author of many books including the recently published ‘Dancing With Loneliness’, his first book in English, published by Irish Messenger Publications and available for purchase on the day.

He is a sociologist by training and this, combined with his expertise in Ignatian spirituality, makes him a sought-after speaker. He has a particular interest in young adult ministry.

All welcome.
