This week Fr Niall talks to Fr. Adam Hincks SJ, a Canadian Jesuit and an astronomer who looks so far into space that he looks back in time! Adam talks about his life as a scientist and Jesuit, about the similarities and differences between science and theology, and he shares some of the beautiful discoveries that he has made.

CONFIRMATION CEREMONY- 4TH MAY AT 11 AM
The sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred on 17 children of Gardiner Street Primary School this Thursday morning at 11 am by Fr. Provincial, Shane Daly SJ. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.
Please note that there will be no 11 am Mass on that day.
FEAST OF BL. JOHN SULLIVAN SJ (8TH MAY)
A Mass of Thanks Giving for his beatification will be celebrated in Clongowes Wood College on Sunday, 7th May at 3 pm. Please consider coming.
The anointing of the sick and blessing with the Cross of Blessed John Sullivan will take place after Mass. Principal celebrant and homilist: Bishop Denis Nulty.
On Saturday the 20th of May at 1 pm will be celebrated the Monthly Mass for Bl. John Sullivan SJ here in St. Francis Xavier’s Church.

DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
Sunday, April 30 is the Day of Prayer for Vocations and the beginning of a Year of Prayer for Vocations to the Diocesan Priesthood. The usual Share collection will be taken up.

Just as the sheep know the voice of the Shepherd, we pray today – the World Day of Prayer for Vocations, that those who are being called will recognise the voice of the Risen Lord in their hearts and will follow him to serve as a priest, deacon, or religious.
