7 pm Reconciliation Service with individual confessions

7 pm Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by Holy Hour at the Sacred Heart Chapel

NO 11 am or 1 pm MASS

Good Friday

12 pm. Stations of the Cross around the Parish. Starting at St. Francis Xavier’s Church

3 pm Liturgy of the Passion

Holy Saturday

9 pm Easter Vigil Mass

Easter Sunday

Mass at 9.15 & 11 am

Chocolate egg hunt after 11.00 am Mass

NO 12.30 OR 7.30 pm MASS

WAY OF THE CROSS

The 18th annual Way of the Cross takes place in the Phoenix Park on Good Friday, April 7, at midday, beginning at the Wellington Monument and finishing at the Papal Cross. It will be led by Archbishop Farrell. Organised by Communion and Liberation.

ECUMENICAL WALK OF WITNESS- 7 APRIL 19:30 – 20:30

The Good Friday Walk of Witness returns to Dublin City Centre during Holy Week 2023. This year the Walk of Witness begins at Saint Mary’s Pro-Cathedral and ends at Christ Church Cathedral.

BLESSED JOHN SULLIVAN SJ MONTHLY MASS

Blessing of the sick and thanksgiving for his life on Saturday 15th April at 1 pm.

NEWLY BAPTISED

We welcome Toni into the Christian Community through the Sacrament of Baptism, celebrated at St. at St. Francis Xavier’s Church.

May the Holy Spirit be with her and guide her always.

BOOK OF THE WEEK

This week we recommend “Finding God in a leaf” by Brian Grogan SJ. It is an introduction to Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si (2015) written in a direct, colloquial and engaging style. Available in the Parish Shop.

COLLECTION PRO TERRA SANCTA

Following a request from the Holy See, Archbishop Farrell has this year again asked that we take up a collection on Good Friday for the Holy Land, Pro Terra Sancta. This collection takes place in dioceses throughout the world. We are invited to pray and to collect funds for the Catholic community in the Holy Land and for the maintenance of the Holy Places there.
