19th March, Feast of St. Joseph
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
We offer a prayer today to Mary, Mother of God:
Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death.
BOOK OF THE WEEK
This week we recommend “Disciples of Courage” by Brendan Comeford SJ. In this book, Fr. Comeford describes the spiritual odyssey of ten remarkable modern disciples. Each of these characters showed immense courage and daring in their pursuit of Christ. Available in the Parish Shop.
We welcome Finley and Alexander into the Christian Community through the Sacrament of Baptism celebrated at St. Francis Xavier’s Church.
May the Holy Spirit be with them and guide them always.
